As soon as I login the account logs me out with a message that states “If you didn’t sign out intentionally, we signed you out after 10 minutes of inactivity to keep your account safe. Thank you for banking with us.”. I have tried clearing my cookies and cache. I’ve tried using different browsers (Firefox, Google and safari).

An estate or trust account is setup like a 'Business' account at Truist. But in terms of online banking, it cannot use the 'business' online banking system. Rather, it must use the 'personal' online banking system. At Truist, you can think of business and personal online banking as separate systems.

Also, Cash App is not so great in the bank’s view. It’s notorious for being used to commit fraud. Even if your transactions are legit, the sheer volume of the fraud that come across thru Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, etc. is so high that the banks are very suspicious of those transfers and will sometimes stop just those until the account holder can be reached.

It won’t let me sign on to SunTrust or Truist. When I try to sign up for Truist, I use all my information and it asks to reset my password. But when I try to reset my password it says none of the previous information is correct, even though it just prompted me to reset password using that information (debit card #, ss etc.)

  10. Is Truist Bank really that bad? Should i close it?

    www.reddit.com/r/personalfinance/comments/yvabyf

Yes, SunTrust was awful as well. I also think their fraud department actually sells customer data because I only have my cards stolen AFTER interacting with Truist security. It's bizarre. I never have my other bank accounts compromised despite the same types of transactions/common spending.

Wells Fargo is much better. The app is better, the customer service is better, and everything including online payments, external bank transfers, and Zelle work better with Wells Fargo. At times I feel like I don't know where my money is with Truist. I don't feel that way with Wells Fargo. I did have some business bank accounts with SunTrust ...
