On November 18, KBUA and KEBN, the other area station on 94.3 FM, began simulcasting the same country music format, and 94.3 in San Fernando became KYKF. This lasted until October 31, 1996, after the San Fernando station was sold to Liberman and started simulcasting KBUE, and on January 31, 1997, it acquired the KBUA call letters.

DWST (101.7 FM), broadcasting as 101.7 Love Radio, is a radio station owned and operated by MBC Media Group. The station's studio and transmitter are located at the 4/F Landbank Bldg., Quezon Ave., San Fernando, La Union .
The station was licensed to San Fernando Valley Broadcasting Company, with studios and executive offices at 4919 Van Nuys Boulevard, Sherman Oaks, California. [3] At that time, it aired a big band music format. KGIL aired other formats including talk until 1993. [4] From 1993 to 1995, it had the call letters KJQI, playing adult standards music.
KCSN came to air as KEDC-FM in late 1963. The station signed on with 10 watts, using a transmitter donated by Saul Levine, and broadcast four hours a day of jazz and classical music, in addition to hourly news bulletins produced by San Fernando Valley State College journalism students. [2]
