Riphah International University (Urdu: رفاہ انٹرنیشنل یونیورسٹی) is a private university in Pakistan, chartered by the Federal Government of Pakistan in 2002. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] It is sponsored by the not-for-profit Islamic International Medical College Trust (IIMCT).
WISH is affiliated with Riphah International University. The idea of an institution of higher learning for women was conceived in the mid-1990s. The capital to construct the campus came from Muslims living in North America and Europe. 2.5 acres (10,000 m 2 ) of land was acquired in Islamabad and the first building was ready for occupancy by 2002.
