State Champs is an American pop-punk band from Albany, New York, formed in 2010. They are currently signed to Pure Noise Records and have released three EPs and five full-length albums. Their 2013 debut album The Finer Things debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. [1]
Following this, State Champs played on the Warped Tour touring festival between June and August 2018, [7] and supported Blink-182 on their short US tour. [14] After a brief stint of headlining shows, [ 15 ] State Champs supported Fall Out Boy on their tour of the US. [ 16 ]
In July and August, the group embarked on a headlining US tour, dubbed The Shot Boys of Summer Tour. They were supported by Hit the Lights, Tiny Moving Parts, Let It Happen and Northbound. Kings of the New Age is the fourth studio album from American pop punk band State Champs. The album was released on May 13, 2022 and marks the longest gap between albums for the band following the release of 2018's Living Proof. It is the band's first album without rhythm guitarist Tony Diaz after his departure in March 2020.

The tour was announced following the release of the EP La Fuerza, the album's first part, with the first three UK shows going on sale on February 4, 2022. It began on June 25, 2022 in Mallorca , Spain, and concluded on August 6, 2022 in Brighton , England, lasting eight shows across Europe.
