Ferrari Ki Sawaari (translation: A Ride In The Ferrari) is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language sports comedy drama film written and directed by Rajesh Mapuskar and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra under the production banners of Eros International and Vinod Chopra Films.
Under the same banner, Rajesh Mapuskar made his writing and directorial debut with Ferrari Ki Sawaari. The critically acclaimed ‘father-son-father’ film, starring Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani, was released on 15 June 2012. [3] Mapuskar's next film was Marathi language film Ventilator.
After completing the script, he approached several filmmakers, who thought it was "a great script" but were sceptical of producing it. He revealed that these people tried to discourage him from making it in Marathi, since his debut film Ferrari Ki Sawaari (2013) was in Hindi. [3] They thought going from Hindi to Marathi would be a downgrade.

In 2012, he composed several successful songs for films like Players, Agent Vinod, Jannat 2 and Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Ferrari Ki Sawaari, where he worked with Rajkumar Hirani.
