Kent was the host of Steppin' at Club 7, a dance program on WLS-TV in Chicago in the mid-1990s. [1] The title came from Chicago stepping, a dance with which Kent was associated. [7] He also taught courses in radio broadcasting part-time [20] at Chicago State University. [1]
Dave was released in November 2017 and was quickly signed by WLS-FM once again. [7] For the second time, Dave would replace Brant Miller at WLS-FM. [8] In March of 2018, Dave began doing the midday show on KCMO-FM in Kansas City. It's a sister station of WLS-AM/FM and he does the show from their studios in Chicago. [9]

On 7 April 2018, Multimedios signed on XHPENS-FM 94.7 and moved La Caliente there, leaving XHHC to take on the Hits FM format. In February 2018, XHHC-FM was approved for a power increase from 6 to 12.5 kW. XHHC switched to La Lupe on 4 June 2019, and returned to La Caliente in November 2020 when La Lupe moved to XHPENS.
In September 1960, it added an FM station, 94.3 WRMN-FM. It is now a contemporary worship music station owned by the Educational Media Foundation, WAWE. An agreement was signed October 26, 2016, to sell WRMN, along with commonly-owned stations KSHP and WBIG, to Pollack Broadcasting for $2 million. The sale was consummated on January 31, 2017.
