As the first week of 2023 rolled on, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) quietly released new rules for the dispersal of the abortion medication mifepristone.

Danco Laboratories is a pharmaceutical distributor located in midtown Manhattan which distributes the abortifacient drug mifepristone under the brand name Mifeprex. Mifeprex is the only drug distributed by Danco, although the company plans to expand to other drugs in the future.
The mifepristone-misoprostol combination is, by far, the most recommended drug regimen for medical abortions, but other drug combinations are available. Misoprostol alone, without mifepristone, may be used in some circumstances for medical abortion, and has even been demonstrated to be successful in the second trimester. [37]
It is also used to treat androgen-dependent conditions in women such as acne, seborrhea, excessive facial/body hair growth, scalp hair loss, and high androgen levels associated with ovaries with cysts.
The FDA policy still requires pharmacies to meet certain requirements and complete a set of forms to get certified to sell mifepristone — that’s the process CVS and Walgreens have completed.
Precipitated sulfur and colloidal sulfur are used, in form of lotions, creams, powders, soaps, and bath additives, for the treatment of acne vulgaris, acne rosacea, and seborrhoeic dermatitis. [1] [2] [3] Other topical uses included the treatment of superficial mycoses (infections with fungi) and scabies, but this is largely obsolete now.
