Bearing Witness to the October 7th Massacre [2] (also unofficially called סרט הזוועות, lit. ' the atrocity film ' or ' the film of horrors ' in Hebrew) is a compilation by the IDF Spokesperson's Unit of raw footage from the 2023 Hamas attack on Israel.
Bearing Witness was made for and premiered on the A&E television network on May 26, 2005. [1] The film was invited to open the 2005 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in Durham, North Carolina, with the subject that year being on "Why War?". [2] [3]

It stars Marina Zudina , Fay Ripley and Oleg Yankovsky and features a brief cameo appearance by Alec Guinness , his final film role in a theatrically-released film.
