Drom (Irish: An Drom, meaning 'the ridge') is a village in County Tipperary, Ireland. [2] It is located just off the main Borrisoleigh to Templemore road. Its population was 129 at the 2006 census.
It is in the Electoral Division of Kilpatrick, [4] in the barony of Kilnamanagh Lower, in County Tipperary. The village itself is at the junction of the R505 and R661 roads, 14 km (8.7 mi) north-west of Cashel and 14 km (8.7 mi) north-east of Tipperary Town.

In 1829, a catholic church was established in the village. [2] In 1857, a school was established adjacent to the church. Separate boys' and girls' schools used the same building, and were headed by Thomas Hackett and his wife, Bridget, respectively. [2]
