Cook County is a county located in the south central portion of the U.S. state of Georgia.As of the 2020 census, the population was 17,229. [1] The county seat is Adel. [2] The constitutional amendment to create the county was proposed July 30, 1918, and ratified November 5, 1918.

The Cook County Courthouse in Adel, Georgia is a building built in 1939. It was designed by Atlanta architect William J. J. Chase and was built by the Ray M. Lee Company. The Public Works Administration provided 45% of the funds. It is a two-story brick building with limestone in the Stripped Classical style.

Pike County Courthouse is the courthouse for Pike County, Georgia. It is located in Zebulon, Georgia's Courthouse Square. It was designed by Golucke & Stewart in Romanesque Revival architecture and Colonial Revival architecture styles and built in 1895.
