Found a fix 🙂 In Premiere Pro, go to sequence and select delete render files. Then select all of the videos necessary in your timeline and go to sequence and select render selection. Then select all of the videos necessary in your timeline and go to sequence and select render selection.
To import this you do need to convert something. My solution is to use ffmpeg to convert the audio to Opus while copying the video stream (NOT decoding and re-encoding the video, which would degrade quality). Command line: ffmpeg -i inputfile.ts.mp4 -c:v copy -c:a libopus -b:a 510k outputfile.webm.
Also, you may clean the Audio previews (File > Project Settings > Scratch Disks > Audio Previews) Once these files are cleared, the next time you open project. It may take some time to rebuild the required cache and peak files. Once these are rebuilt, check if it's working properly.
