The Valencia Theatre (formerly the Loew's Valencia Theatre) is a church building at 165-11 Jamaica Avenue in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens in New York City, New York. Designed by John Eberson as a movie palace , it opened on January 11, 1929, as one of five Loew's Wonder Theatres in the New York City area.
Opened as the National Theatre in 1914, it is the oldest remaining theater building on South Main Street. Following its initial status as a first-run filmhouse, it began screening second-run programming in the 1920s amidst a widespread decline of the vicinity's entertainment scene in favor of the newer Broadway Theater District .

The first production was Patrick Kearney's adaption of Dreiser's An American Tragedy which had opened on Broadway in 1926.

Before the Galen Center, USC basketball had been played at a variety of locations, including the neighboring Shrine Auditorium stage, the old Pan-Pacific Auditorium in the Fairfax District, and from 1959 onward at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena.
It also allowed the theatre's seating capacity to be reconfigured from 1,600 seats for an intimate play to 2,084 for a major Broadway-sized musical.
