Members of the club are able to sign up for trips, most of which take place within the state of Colorado. Trips are led by volunteer trip leaders who handle the planning and organization as well as the execution. The Colorado Trail is a long-distance trail running for 486 miles (782 km) from the mouth of Waterton Canyon southwest of Denver to Durango in Colorado, United States. Its highest point is 13,271 feet (4,045 m) above sea level, and most of the trail is above 10,000 feet (3,000 m).
Trips began in 1983 and now include intergenerational, watercolor, and musical programs, as well as intensive hiking trips. Conferences. Six-bedroom conference cabins were constructed in 1995 after the old structures burnt in the 1994 fire.
