As Daylight Dies is the fourth studio album by American metalcore band Killswitch Engage. It was released on November 21, 2006 through Roadrunner Records . It was produced by the band's guitarists, Adam Dutkiewicz and Joel Stroetzel .
Killswitch Engage played the Reading and Leeds Festivals in August 2006, having already played Australian dates without Dutkiewicz, who was suffering from back problems and needed corrective surgery. On May 23, 2006, the song "This Fire Burns" was released on the WWE Wreckless Intent album. [21]

Although "I'm Comin'" by Silkk the Shocker and "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage are not attributed to a superstar on the album, they have since been used by MVP and CM Punk, respectively. Randy Orton also briefly used a modified version of "This Fire" as his theme, along with it being the theme for Pay-Per-View event Judgment Day in 2006.
