Bohemian Switzerland (Czech: České Švýcarsko; German: Böhmische Schweiz), also known as Czech Switzerland, is a nature region in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains in the northwestern Czech Republic, protected as a national park. It has been a protected area (as Elbe Sandstone Mountains Protected Landscape Area) since 1972.
The resort has 1 brand new 8-seat cable car, 5 chair lifts, 5 drag lifts and 1 children's ski lift. There are 12 ski runs with a total length 28 km (30% easy, 60% intermediate, 10% difficult), a snowboard piste, a natural ice rink and the Western Switzerland's longest tobbogan run (10 km long and a drop of 848m) which starts at the summit of the station (2,354m).
This once ran from Hainsberg near Asch over the Ore Mountains, Bohemian Switzerland and the Lusatian Mountains to Sněžka in the Giant Mountains. Today there is not only a dense network of trails, but also an extensive cross country skiing network and downhill ski slopes for winter sports.

The Elbe Sandstone Mountains extend on both sides of the Elbe from the Saxon town of Pirna in the northwest toward Bohemian Děčín in the southeast. Their highest peak with 723 m (2,372 ft) is the Děčínský Sněžník in Bohemian Switzerland on the left bank of the river in Bohemian Switzerland north of Děčín.
It consists of the village of Morschach and includes the summer and winter resort at Stoos. Morschach has an area, as of 2006 [update] , of 20.8 km 2 (8.0 sq mi). Of this area, 52.3% is used for agricultural purposes, while 36.2% is forested.
