Kazutaka Kodaka (Japanese: 小高 和剛, Hepburn: Kodaka Kazutaka, born July 8, 1978) is a Japanese video game designer, writer, and manga artist.His work is known for recurring themes of contrasting hope and despair, luck and talent, truth and lies, and mixing tragedy with dark humor, as well as using numerous plot twists.
He and his team, working on a television series for the first time, found the project challenging. A spin-off manga, Danganronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer, was serialized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine between March 2016 and May 2017. Funimation, Madman Entertainment, and Animax Asia licensed the three parts for English-speaking regions.
