Vintage Story is a sandbox survival game developed and published by Anego Studios. The game began development on April 5, 2016 [ 1 ] by the founders of Anego Studios, Tyron and Irena Madlener. Vintage Story is a standalone version of an earlier mod for Minecraft called Vintagecraft that was created by Tyron Madlener.
The player is given a survival guide book, with notes about discovered wildlife on the island, and a basic to-do list to help guide players. The guidebook also allows players to place blueprints for the various structures (such as bonfires, walls, tree-houses and traps) in the game. Simply select a blueprint, then place it in the open-world.
The Stranger finds a large talking tree blocking the exit of the forest in a flooded village, which indirectly asks the Stranger to explore a radio tower. A cripple residing in this village requests that the Stranger burns this tree. Both pathways offer ways of leaving the forest and of reaching the Epilogue.
