Olivia Gude (/ ˈ ɡ ʊ d iː /; born 1950 [1]) is an American artist and educator recognized for community public art mural and mosaic projects, and as the founding director of Spiral Workshops (an art program for teenagers as well as a curriculum research project on art education).
The goals are not intended to be a curriculum. Instead, curriculum is to be developed locally on the basis of the goals. Standards are grouped in four divisions—creation and performance; cultural and historical context; perception and analysis; and the nature and value of the arts. The Music Content Standards for each level are as follows:
Arts-Based - Art is at the core of learning, providing a lens through which students can understand other subjects. Art serves as the basic threshold for general learning. Arts-Injected (or Infused) - Art is "injected" from the outside as a matter of enrichment (e.g., a period of music, visiting artists, etc.)
