(P.S. ALL my sims look like a clown, red and white skin no matter if the skin tone came along with the game or if its a custom content also they always have a white question mark on their forehead. Also I have version 1.60.54.1020 Sims 4 game.
Probably more files are damaged in the game folder. Step 1. Fix the game in Origin. Origin/ My games library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game". Step 2. Rename The Sims4 folder to "The Sims4 old". Step 3. Turn on the game - a new game folder will be created and you will have two - one old, one new. Step 4.
Make sure that the game is not using the OneDrive-folders. Try turning off OneDrive before starting the game. You can check where the game saves your files by looking in your Game Options - Screenshot settings. Make sure that the path above is the same place as where you have your saves and mods. If some mods show up.
Recently I updated my "The Sims 4". I have downloaded custom content beforehand and have played many times with the custom content showing and working. All my cas cc is working fine and when I check my mods are enabled and my build cc shows in the custom content list in game options but isn’t showing in the game. Not sure how to fix this problem I’ve never seen it before. 7 people had this problem. 1. + XP.

It's in the right folder ( Electronic Arts > Sims 4 > Mods), I have the resource file in there, I have the custom content option on in the sims 4 game, all the files are the right kind and unzipped so I don't understand.
CAS cc seems fine, but as soon as I include Build/Buy CC this is where I run into crashes. I've tried to narrow it down, with no success. I thought I narrowed it down to one folder, but now it's just crashing regardless. Nothing specifically triggers it it'll just spontaneously crash a few minutes into gameplay.
None of my custom content is working and I have all the right settings and my files are in the correct place. It stopped working this weekend on Friday, I have uninstalled and reinstalled it and repaired the sims and everything but it still doesn't work and I'm not sure what to do. Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods. Here's a pic of where to enable CC and Mods in your Game Option (in the "Other" tab). Make sure the box labeled "Enable Custom Content and Mods" is checked: If you can get your CC to show up properly in your game, then you should see the option to filter by CC only in your CAS screen.
It is in the correct folder, and when I start the game, I can even see the furniture cc in the game made mods list. When I'm in build mode and search things up, I can still see the names of the mods! But when I click in it, it only goes to the category that it's in and no objects shows up. I've already tried to repair my game, but nothing's ...
