If you've filled all the displays in the museum, just spending a couple hours at the mushroom trees gives you plenty of fossils to sell, so you don't really ever run out of Numulite as the fossils are so quick to obtain that way. Otherwise the only use is volcanic mine (but that's super cheap to enter) and i think it's 25k Numulite to charge ...

Thx! Enough for a month of what. If you want to do underwater driftnet fishing (trains hunter and fishing at once), you have to pay 200 per a day. Or some huge one-time payment like 20k or so. Also to bank from driftnets, you pay 5 nums per a net, and you cannot pay-off once and forget it, as with entrance.

I have collected a fair bit of Numulites but I have no idea what I can buy with them or what their uses are. I know you can use them on the chest for a chance to get a page to put in the Fossil Island Note Book, but I don't know why I would even want to do that. I also know you can use them as payment to the gardener to keep a seaweed patch ...
UIM here. Just wondered what were any decent uses for numulite for a low/mid-game player. I have been AFK a lot at work and have killed ammonite crabs. I have 30k+ numulite left. Already spent 20k numulite on permanent access to the area under water. Spent a few thousand on obtaining all 10 pages for that fossil island book for the collection log.
Everything on fossil island gives numulites. If you’re doing vm, you’ll profit numulites even with the occasional death. Cut sulliuscep trees. Fair bit of numilites from that activity, and the sulliuscep tops can be used for +4 crafting boost pies. Also quite good wc exp and the best way to get fossils for the museum.
