Boonton Township (/ ˈ b u t ən / [18]) is a township in Morris County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 4,380, [9] an increase of 117 (2.7%) from the 2010 census count of 4,263, [19] [20] which in turn reflected a decline of 24 (−0.6%) from 4,287 in the 2000 census.
