The closest is Saturn Blue for a 1957 Chrysler, Color Code V, DQE-11527-DAL. The second closest is Tahitian Turquoise for a 1961 Chrysler, Color Code JJ-1, 12273. The code numbers from this book are only directly relevant for product lines that PPG no longer produces, like Duracryl, etc.
The 1979 Dark Blue was GM color code WA7103. It was used in 1979 only.
Does anyone have the complete color breakdown? ROA site shows this, but it leaves out some of the colors. Sahara Mist, Verde Green and Seafoam Green all came in at a little over 8%.
I reset the codes earlier: E041 C, E041 H, E044 H, B122 H, B123 H, B448 H, C553 H. After reset the SES light came on immediately and E044 C and E044 H were present after restart. I assume that the Cam sprocket magnet is probably missing. My question is about driving 7 hours this way.
Posted June 12, 2019 (edited) Been researching my paint codes to find touchup paint and came across this chart. My '41 has paint code 576, and is 2-tone grey over blue. The body appears to be Monterey Blue as confirmed by the chart below. I was told, however, the top is Lancaster Grey but the chart below states it should be Pearl Grey (upper 576).

I am having my car detailed and they asked me for some paint. On the dB website there is a paint chart with the proper paint color. But after contacting DuPont the codes do not work.
45. Posted August 18, 2016. Hi All, I just purchased a 68 riviera and the paint code on body plate shows OO. I cannot find any reference to this code on any sites. The car is actually midnight teal blue which I thought the code was B according to the web sites. Second owner who I bought car off says the paint is original.
Same colors as I noted above. Pink and Violet run to the back of the truck for the rear stop/turn. Dk Blue and Lt Blue run to the front for the turn signals. Yellow comes from the turn signal flasher module. White comes from the brake light switch. Yours must be some sort of aftermarket switch with a non-factory color code.
Posted December 18, 2014. Does anyone have the ability to convert Dulux and or Duco paint codes to modern paint codes. Trying to figure out what the formula for "French White" (Duco 253-58162) might be. This is the color that was used for stripe color on 1942 thru 1958 Buicks rims/wheels.
For the paint code it shows an MJ. So far this means to me a two tone paint job. The colors being White Jade and Fire Opal. Now thats all well and good but the color that I am finding in areas that are not typically prone to fading seems to be closer to Rose Quartz. I have shown about 5 of my friends look at it an they all agree that it does ...
