Temixco is the fourth-largest city in the Mexican state of Morelos.It is in the west-northwest part of the state, 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) from Cuernavaca and 85 kilometres (53 mi) from Mexico City.
Ex-Hacienda de Temixco is located 10 minutes south of Cuernavaca in the town of Temixco. This park is built on the site of a 16th-century sugar-cane plantation which was appropriated during the Mexican Revolution.
