in KS EDITOR name your road created for pits as 1PITS instead of 1ROADxx make sure to do it in SCENE tab and OBJECT tab. Then in your surfaces have PITS as a surface. It's as if I'm using the white arrow/cone (and I'm not using the shift key, as that would allow me select several control point at the same time). When I disconnect the 2 track parts, I have again full control over the control points of the cross-section. Reconnecting the 2 track parts, and the problem is there again...

These yellowish lines are the node lines. To edit individula parts of it (width, height, etc.), left click the yellow line. This shjould change it to where you can see little nodes. Click and drag any node to change things. To add new node lines at any point in the track, press and hold Ctrl and then left click a spot on the track.
Jan 12 @ 11:46am. I do recommend you making the dotted middle line as a string object instead of baking it into the texture though as you can then give it collision through surfaces.ini. IRL you also feel the lines when driving over them. #2. n0vmbr.
