Gregory Dean Camp (born April 2, 1967), [1] is an American guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist. He is best known as a founding member of the rock band Smash Mouth and served as a guitarist and songwriter across several stints (1994–2008, 2009–2011, 2014, 2018–2019).
The band began as the result of writing sessions between Barrett, Camp and Parada during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, following Parada's controversial departure from the Offspring in 2021 due to his refusal to be vaccinated against COVID-19; and Barrett's breakup with the Mighty Mighty Bosstones in part due to his views on the COVID-19 vaccine.
