I've done over 200 food deliveries thru various apps and every single order I've taken has tipped me, 100% tip rate. It's not like flex, you can see exactly how much they tip before you take the order, so there's no confusion. If they don't tip then you can decline the order.
If you received $20 in tips, your total earnings would be $56. So no Amazon Flex drivers are not earning less than minimum wage. They earn at least $15, plus tips, and potentially any extra that Amazon puts on a particular delivery block. Most Fresh deliveries require 4-5 trips to the home to deliver the items.
Noooo, lol. Amazon drivers are typically making like 18-24/hr depending on location. UPS drivers start at 21 with a raise each year, topping out at around 49/hr after 4 years. Warehouse workers at Amazon make around 18-22/hr. UPS warehouse workers start at 21, raising to at least 28 after 5 years.
Drivers that deliver for Amazon fresh are flex drivers. They are paid a decent amount for a 2-hour window of time, but when you factor certain things in, you'll see that you really should tip. They are considered independent operators. They are usually using their own vehicle. Amazon does not pay them for tolls. Amazon does not pay them for gas.
I was offended that Amazon suggested a $7 tip. Seriously? I was having 3 small items delivered from a warehouse 5 miles away. I recall a news article stating Prime Now drivers were being paid $17-$25 / hr when the service became available in my area.
no. they are not on tipped wages. them and thier boss have agreed to a pay rate that does not need your tip. You paid for the service already. A cup of cofee if they come in the morning or water or soda later and if its after 4ish a beer offered to them is the most you need to do. Reply reply. wildcat12321.
You never have to tip but you should if you feel the service met or exceeded your expectations. 2. Award. Kri_AZ82. • 1 yr. ago. Omg tip! I do Amazon fresh deliveries and sometimes we drive 60+ miles to deliver. Also many packages and cases of water. Apartments with many stairs and not to mention weather conditions.
No, and never will, as i don't order anything from Amazon. We leave out bottles of water and snacks. Not for regular Amazon deliveries, but if it’s groceries then I always add a tip in the app when it’s available. 47M subscribers in the AskReddit community. r/AskReddit is the place to ask and answer thought-provoking questions.
The Walmart+ delivery drivers do indeed work for Walmart and deliver in a Walmart van. The service is sold as no tipping. Reply reply. QueenOfHeartsNoKing. •. That is not correct. The Walmart In Home service, states no tip and Walmart employee. The Walmart Plus service is the one where a tip is expected.
I called Amazon (they a freaking good) refund me the money since they can't replace the order but the 8 dollar tip was not. So to my driver out there, enjoy free money for a bad job done knowing you have ruined other drivers chances of getting tips. Sorry about this but this is how I feel now. 2.2K subscribers in the amazonfresh community.
