The problem is clearly a severe one that effects a large number of these SUV's, and should be fully addressed in order to generate some good faith between Dodge and the Journey owners. The issue is clearly with the starter circuit, so they should be able to isolate that circuit and figure out what system is causing this to occur.

What happens is that the windows will not go up or down, but you will hear the clicking noise like they are trying to move.. All 4 windows are affected. the seal is $55. ,O ring is $10. from Dodge. dont try and use a cheap generic O ring cause this one is a special size. I found a good ECC for $900. better than $2500. from Dodge. I suggest anyone with an AWD journey monitor any sign of oil at front of diff get that coupling off ,replace pinion seal and O ring BEFORE it takes out ECC !!
Blend Door Actuator Motor Calibration. Turn ignition key to the on position and turn on the HVAC system. Move the key to the off position. Open hood (bonnet for the RHD guys) and locate fuse #15 in the fuse box next to the battery. Remove the fuse and wait 1-2 minutes for any capacitive charges in the system to dissipate.

But there are two points you raised that make me suspect that this could be a corrosion issue - incidentally, I have my vehicles rustproofed mainly to avoid electrical issues related to corrosion; 1. You said the power cut and was restored. 2. You indicated a battery drain condition.

Posted December 8, 2020. I've had two different 2019 Journeys, and both of them have major issues with Uconnect. It is inconsistent, and incredibly frustrating. I would estimate it only connects to my phone about 10% of the time for audio. I've tried two different iphones with both vehicles, and neither of them worked regularly.
