"Gimme Three Steps" is a song by American southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, released from the band's debut album, (Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd) (1973). It was written by bandmates Allen Collins and Ronnie Van Zant .

Authorized Bootleg: Live In Winterland, San Francisco, CA, 3/07/76 is a live concert recording of Lynyrd Skynyrd. It was released by Geffen Records alongside Live at the Cardiff Capitol Theatre which captures a concert four months earlier.
The second CD release, in 1996, was a two-disc set with all 14 songs plus three bonus tracks: "Sweet Home Alabama", "Gimme Back My Bullets" and "Simple Man". The two-disc set put the tracks in the order of appearance of the original concert.

The Allen Collins Band was a spinoff of southern-rock bands Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Rossington-Collins Band. [1] It existed from 1983 to 1984 and was formed shortly after the dissolution of the Rossington-Collins Band.
