RZUA (Reformed Zion Union Apostolic Churches of America) is a Methodist Christian denomination with a predominantly African-American membership that resides mostly in the South Hill and Tidewater area of Virginia.
The Union of American Hebrew Congregations was founded in 1873 by Isaac M. Wise. In 1898, it adopted a resolution opposing Zionism which said: "The Jews are not a nation, but a religious community". They called Zion a "holy memory" but mainted that "America is our Zion". They said the mission of Judaism was spiritual, rather than political.

Shembe's Nazarite church was to become the largest Zionist congregation until eclipsed by the Zion Christian Church in the 1950s. Shembe's church was distinct from most other Zionist sects in that he insisted that he was a prophet sent directly from God to the Zulu nation. Most other Zionists were distinctly non-ethnic in outlook. [7]
