Lateralus (/ ˌ l æ t ə ˈ r æ l ə s /) [2] is the third studio album by the American rock band Tool.It was released on May 15, 2001, through Volcano Entertainment.The album was recorded at Cello Studios in Hollywood and The Hook, Big Empty Space, and The Lodge, in North Hollywood, between October 2000 and January 2001.

Goddard wrote the tracks for Karnivool's first album Themata and he stated that they played songs from Themata together as a band only after it was recorded. [3] Produced by Forrester Savell, Goddard not only wrote all of the album's songs and played guitar, but also played drums on every track except "L1fel1ke", as Judd had not yet joined the band. [4]

Evergrey's twelfth studio album, Escape of the Phoenix, was released on 26 February 2021. [11] It was elected by Metal Hammer as the 10th best progressive metal album of 2021. [12] On 26 August 2021 Evergrey announced they signed a new deal with Napalm Records and are already working on a new album. [13]
