LeapPad was invented by Jim Marggraff [1] and developed by a team from Explore Technologies, Inc., which was founded by Marggraff and was acquired by LeapFrog in July 1998. The video was reissued on DVD in 2000 as a stand along DVD and again in 2006 as a second disc with Bat Out Of Hell: Special Edition.
