The Qandil Mountains (Kurdish: چیایێن قەندیلێ Çiyayên Qendîlê, Arabic: جبل قنديل), are a mountainous area of [ ] near the Iran-Iraq border. The region belongs to the Zagros mountain range and is difficult to access, with extremely rugged terrain.
