Nara Chandrababu Naidu (Telugu pronunciation: [ˈnɑːrɑː ˈtʃʌnˌdrɑː ˈbɑːbuː ˈnaɪduː]; born 20 April 1950), commonly known as CBN, is an Indian politician who is currently serving as the 13th Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
He is the son of N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and leader of the TDP. Lokesh served as the Minister of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development and the Information Technology, Electronics and Communication departments from 2017 to 2019 while being elected as a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) in 2017.
The chief ministership of N. Chandrababu Naidu began on 1 September 1995 and ended on 11 October 1999, making him the 13th Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Naidu was sworn in by the then governor, Krishan Kant. Naidu's second term started on 11 October 1999 to end on 13 May 2004, sworn in by the then governor, C. Rangarajan. [1]
