Newbury is a town in Merrimack County, New Hampshire, United States.The population was 2,172 at the 2020 census. [3]The town includes the villages of Newbury, Blodgett Landing and South Newbury, as well as a portion of Mount Sunapee Resort, a ski area, and a portion of Lake Sunapee, including the beach at Mount Sunapee State Park.
The Center Meetinghouse occupies a prominent site in the center of Newbury's main village, overlooking the southern end of Lake Sunapee at the eastern corner of the junction of New Hampshire Routes 103 and 103A. It is a single-story wood-frame structure, with a gabled roof and clapboarded exterior.
The Fells, also known as the Hay Estate, was originally the summer home of John Milton Hay, a 19th-century American statesman. It is located in Newbury, New Hampshire, on New Hampshire Route 103A, 2.2 mi (3.5 km) north of its junction with New Hampshire Route 103.

South Newbury is an unincorporated community in the town of Newbury in Merrimack County, New Hampshire, United States. It is located along New Hampshire Route 103, 3 miles (5 km) southeast of the main village of Newbury. Route 103 continues east to the towns of Bradford and Warner.
