Bearded Man with a Beret is a 1630 oil-on-panel painting by the Dutch artist Jan Lievens. Its dimensions are 53.5 cm × 46.3 cm (21.1 in × 18.2 in). [1] The painting is of an old man who is looking up to his right. His lips are parted as if he has been interrupted while speaking.

[ 3 ] Langseth died aged 81 in Wyndmere, North Dakota , on November 10, 1927 after he tripped over his beard whilst running down the steps during a house fire, and is buried in Elk Creek Church Cemetery in Kensett, Iowa .
