Jujutsu Kaisen (呪術廻戦, rgh. "Sorcery Battle") [b] is a Japanese anime television series produced by MAPPA, based on the manga series of the same name by Gege Akutami.The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers to eliminate a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host.
Todo takes the Black Flash meant for them, after which Yuji traps Sukuna in his Domain Expansion. Yuji's actions finally get through to Megumi and he begins resisting Sukuna from the inside. Following a Resonance on Sukuna's final finger from the recently-awakened Nobara, Yuji is able to hit Sukuna with a final Black Flash.
An unexpected "Special Grade" Cursed Spirit attacks them. Yuji stays back to buy time while Megumi rescues Nobara and escapes. Yuji's left hand is torn off by the spirit, so he unleashes Sukuna to fight. Sukuna swiftly kills the Special Grade, regenerates Yuji's hand, and reclaims one of his fingers that was powering the curse.
