Winstead Sheffield "Doodles" Weaver (May 11, 1911 – January 16, 1983) [1] [2] was an American character actor, comedian, and musician. Born into a wealthy West Coast family, Weaver began his career in radio. In the late 1930s, he performed on Rudy Vallée's radio programs and Kraft Music Hall. He later joined Spike Jones' City Slickers.
Noodle and Doodle is an American live action children's television series, which premiered on May 24, 2010, and ended on March 9, 2013. [1] The series was created by John McCoy, produced and directed by Kristopher Updike. The series was the first long form television series on Sprout (Universal Kids).
The series focused on the Doodlebops going on a worldwide tour with Bus Driver Bob, Deedee Doodle’s small pink dog named Bop-Bop, and a new character: Mail Snail. These were the only characters to appear in this spin-off. Lisa Lennox, Chad McNamara, and Jonathan Wexler voiced and reprised their roles as Deedee, Rooney, and Moe.
