The Barbados Transport Board (BTB) is a public transportation authority of the government of Barbados. The BTB operates numerous fixed-route bus lines service through much of the country. The BTB's headquarters are located at Weymouth, Roebuck Street, area while the main terminal is at Fairchild Street in Saint Michael.
The bus services in Barbados are available to all, however locals are the predominant group that use the public buses. The Barbados Transport Board is a government organization that is responsible for bus transportation. The Board started as an organization on 24 August 1955 and has operated ever since.
ZR (bus) A ZR (pronounced "Zed R", [1] formally called a route taxi) is a type of private taxi-bus system found in Barbados. The vehicles are small vans, which mainly operate routes between the capital of Bridgetown and other terminals. They derive the name "ZR" from the license-plate code assigned to most route taxis.
