    When I am fishing from the bank in cover that thick I go weightless. Reason being, if you do manage to punch through and get a bass, you will be dragging back a ton of weeds along with the fish. Try using a super fluke if the GY baits keep falling apart, and pitch the bait into holes in the weeds and let it sink.
