03-20-2022 11:52 AM. Issue is fixed with latest Win11 insider preview Dev update. Prior to the Windows update I had to go to device manager and manually update the driver pointing to the. C:\AMD\Chipset_Software\Packages\IODriver. folder and then the Win11x64 folder within whatever driver I wanted to update.

Same problem here with a X570 chipset. I did uninstall the chipset drivers and removed the folder. When i check the GPIO driver version it says: 2.2.0.124 instead of the 2.2.0.126 thats supost to come with the driver package, rest of them including the AMD PCI driver do have the same version as displayed in the installer window.

The installer is extracting everything to C:\Program Files (x86)\AMD\Chipset_Software\ and then tries to run the update program. By manually going to that folder and then running the "AMD_Chipset_Drivers.exe" file that has been created there (run as Administrator) it worked like a charm.
I downloaded and install the ryzen master but after the message saying "Install successful" nothing is installed. I tried downloading the chipset but when run the file AMD_Chipset_Software.exe, there is a message "This installer is intended to be deployed onlyon an AMD system" and basically terminate the installation.
04-02-2021 02:28 PM. AMD Chipset Sofware Installer not showing up in Start. I downloaded the chipset installer and I see it in Apps (only option is to uninstall) but not in the start menu. I successfully installed the drivers it wanted to update. I am just unable to open the app unless that is intentional. Ryzen 7 3700X, ASROCK X570 pro4. Solved!
11-29-2022 10:29 AM. Microsoft Install/Uninstall Tool has fixed many AMD CHIP Set installation issues for many AMD Forum's Users. Run the Tool and uninstall all Non-Graphic AMD Drivers. Afterward try installing the latest AMD Chip set driver package again.
