The Forum Shops at Caesars, also known as The Forum Shops, is an upscale shopping mall on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is connected to the Caesars Palace resort, and both feature a Roman theme. The mall project was announced in 1987. It was developed and initially owned by The Gordon Company and Melvin Simon & Associates.
The second Spago restaurant opened at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, on the Las Vegas Strip in 1992. It was closed in 2017 and relocated to Bellagio Las Vegas in spring 2018. In 1992 Wolfgang Puck was the first celebrity chef to open an upscale restaurant in a Las Vegas gambling resort with Spago at Caesars Palace. Caesars Forum is located east of the Las Vegas Strip. [1] It was built on 28 acres (11 ha) [ 2 ] located behind The Linq resort, on property which previously served as a parking lot. In May 1997, Lazaroff and Puck owned 36 restaurants together, with ObaChine in Seattle, featuring Southeast Asian cuisine and decor, being the 36th. At the close of 2019, Lazaroff co-owns Spago Beverly Hills, Spago Las Vegas and Spago Maui, Chinois on Main, Trattoria del Lupo, Postrio Bar & Grill, and Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill in Las Vegas.
