Yoasobi [A] is a Japanese pop duo formed in 2019. "Yasashii Suisei" (優しい彗星, lit. "Gentle Comet", English title: "Comet") [1] is a song by Japanese duo Yoasobi from their second EP, The Book 2 (2021).It was released as a single on January 20, 2021, by Sony Music Entertainment Japan, and released as a double A-side CD single together with "Kaibutsu" on March 24.
It was first published via the anime official website on September 25, 2024. [10] The song is a pop track [11] with catchy synth obbligato melody that can be found on Yoasobi's songs in early career such as "Yoru ni Kakeru" and "Gunjō". [12] It is centered on the theme of "people are always alone" and the "delicate feelings toward loved ones."
