Hi! Quick question. Since 1.8, bucket functionality has been removed from adventure mode (i.e. it's impossible to pick up or place water and lava). What with the new CanPlaceOn and CanDestroy tags in Adventure Mode, is there a way to make this once again possible? Thanks! Mental Block Gaming
Basically, there is no option for Adventure mode when creating a world on Survival, but Adventure mode is what every single one of my created Survival mode games defaults to - and as soon as I switch to Creative mode, boom, the option materializes right there in Settings, to disable Adventure mode[/p] .[/p] It's really getting frustrating; any ...
I know that you can make a tool that can break blocks in Adventure Mode with some tag-thing, but I don't know how to create one with commands. Is it possible to make one that only breaks a specific kind of block (for example, break mossy cobble but not regular cobble), or can it only be allowed to break whole categories (like stone-type or wood ...
I have played minecraft for a few years now, I got pretty far at first but than computer problems deleted my minecraft and I have just started playing again. I always felt as minecraft as an adventure game, not a survival game. Only the first few days I felt were survival days.

Welcome to my little Minecraft Story Mode map. I recreated the first ~30 minutes of 'The Order of the Stone' in Vanilla Minecraft using command blocks and a custom resource pack, which is included in the world folder. The map can be played in any version of Minecraft 1.8 by one player.
Basically, at world spawn, players are in Adventure Mode. There is a map wall that players will obnoxiously rotate the maps on. Many of the buildings use trapdoors as decoration and when players open them, the buildings look strange.
so I've been working on a project and I want the area to be block protected, so I've been messing about with adventure mode commands with it. Currently, this is my setup: The command on the left block is: gamemode 2 @a[m=0,r=40] The command on the right block is: gamemode 0 @a[m=2,rm=40]
