I have just tried to download and install the office365 apps, but received the notification that the install needs Mac OS 12. I am running Mac OS 11. Looks like MS has stopped the download link to office 2011 mac. Suggest you to look for the direct download links available online and use them to install office mac. If your version of office mac is home and business then you can use this link.

Since the latest Office version doesn't support MacOS Big Sur 11.7.2. First, you'd need to delete the wrong version: For your reference: Uninstall Office for Mac - Microsoft Support. Then for MacOS Big Sur 11.7.2, y ou can download 16.77 compatible version of Office: Office package (with Teams) Office package (without Teams)

Hello, i have an Office 365 University subscription. I now have a second Mac, which is a MacMini from 2009. It runs Mavericks and cannot be further upgraded. As a result, it cannot use 2016 Office for Mac, which is the only version available when I sign in to Office 365 University to try to download Microsoft Office.
