The Kannapolis Cannon Ballers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Carolina League and the Single-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. They are located in Kannapolis, North Carolina, and play their home games at Atrium Health Ballpark. The team was established in 1995 as the Piedmont Phillies.
The 2022 Carolina League season was a Single-A baseball season played between April 8 and September 11. Twelve teams played a 132-game schedule, with two teams in each division qualifying for the post-season.
