Thing is according to RWS, in the Canon of Postal, Postal 3 was a dream the Dude had. Yeah that’s true but they didn’t knew it was gonna be like this beforehand. All Postal vehicles have VIN plates. If the plate was ripped off, that is a different story. I have done many accident investigations, and there is most definitely a VIN, and the vehicle number is used as the license plate #

There was also a lawsuit surrounding crash worthiness/safety that came up over the sale of the old postal Jeeps. Someone bought one, got in a nasty accident, and part of the ruling is that the PO can’t sell any RHD vehicles due to them not having been crash tested/certified.
You can’t buy one from USPS, but you can buy one of the few LLVs that never became postal trucks. Those ended up being used as town/city municipality vehicles and are sometimes listed for sale on GovDeals or other government auction sites.
