Heads up y'all. AR 25-50 updated effective 10 OCT 2020. Just got an electronic copy. (Note, previous version valid until 10 NOV)
I abhor army correspondence. It's the worst thing ever made, ever. Of all time. The epitome of bureaucracy. I can't even begin to fathom how many man-hours have been wasted reading this pub, pouring over word documents and fucking with alignment, passing it to someone else to review to make sure that the date is formatted "4 January 2024" and not "4 JAN 2024" or, heaven forbid, "January 4th ...
This shows that AR 25-50 does, in fact, address electronic mail. Section I, 1-5. 1–5. Restrictions to this regulation. This regulation has been made as complete as possible to avoid issuing additional instructions.

AR 25-50 Table C shows how you address people based on rank. Respectfully or Very Respectfully are saved for the President and Vice-President, everyone else gets a Sincerely Edit to add: once an award has been processed onto the system, it is not supposed to be kicked back ever, until it reaches the final approving authority.

AR 25-50 is going to be WAY less useful than the PT regulations FM 7-22 and ATP 7-22.02. The ATP has good exercises the Army says to do. The FM has why you choose what you want and examples of schedules.
