Pig is a 2021 American drama film written and directed by Michael Sarnoski (in his feature directorial debut), from a story by Vanessa Block and Sarnoski. The film stars Nicolas Cage as a truffle-hunter who lives alone in the Oregon wilderness and must return to his past in Portland in search of his beloved foraging pig after she is kidnapped.

While at Yale, Sarnoski co-wrote and directed the short film Love for the Dead, set in a zombie apocalypse. [5] Sarnoski met Vanessa Block during the making of the film, and they later collaborated on the 2015 short documentary The Testimony, which Block wrote, produced, and directed while Sarnoski was editor and executive producer. The entire film was also improvised, since no script was written. The four credited producers for the movie are Adam Mason, Andrew Howard, Patrick Ewald, Michael J. Sarna. The film was also never made to be sold. It has been streamed on platforms like SXSW and Bloody Disgusting, with only a few copies of the film being sold. [2]
In November 2002, a VHS and DVD volume was released in Canada by CinéGroupe Star titled "Pig City/Porcité - Volume 1". It contained the Series 1 episodes "Wag the Hog", "Hogtied" and "Porkstars".
