The Patriarchy is a villainous professional wrestling stable that performs in All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The stable is currently led by Christian Cage and features Killswitch, Nick Wayne, Mother Wayne and Kip Sabian. The stable's name derives from Cage's on-screen character of being a "father figure" to his stablemates.
The team's gimmick is that they are presented as 1980s throwback wrestlers, including wearing gear and using moves in the style of that era, and filming vignettes using a VHS video camera. Their entrances are also presented in a VHS-esque aesthetic. Their popularity made them one of AEW's top merchandise sellers in August 2024. [9]
