In all the years we've used them, only once did I find a hair in the meat. As for the sausage, its always been top notch and I knoew once, it couldnt be meat from any deer but mind, because I killed the deer in the Delaware season, before the NJ season even started.
I'll be doing them as well as the deer,hogs and exotics. 7 types of fresh made sausages,never a crummy bagged spice mix.9 flavors of jerky,3 flavors of summer sausage,snack stix,salami,bologna,honey bologna and pork roll,pepperoni too.

Obviously, I would not be able to run around to each and every small time butcher around the whole state, but if I had a handful of frequently used butchers and was able to schedule multiple orders to be picked up and delivered a couple times a week, could maybe make a few extra bucks to buy more huntin and fishin gear!
I switched butchers based on Dougs recommendation of the Buck Stop years back. They are pricey but the meat is trimmed good and the sausage is excellent. My old man still goes to Footes. He finds his attitude humorous. Guess I just I got spoiled by being treated like my business was appreciated at the Buck Stop. [kiss]
